Our beautiful campsite, located in an idyllic location in Great Henny is the perfect camping retreat for all experienced campers and for those who are looking to add a bit of 'glam' to their wilderness experience. Located beside the river stour and next to the gorgeous Henny Swan pub, our campsite not only boasts the perfect location, but also offers access to our guests for activity hire such as paddle boards, kayaks, canoes and bike rental, all in one place.
Camping for Tents, motor homes, camper vans and caravans
Looking for a peaceful and isolated location to escape the crowds and stress of city life? Henny Riverside Camping is the perfect spot for you. We have 10 grass pitches, 3 gravel pitches, and 2 large group tent pitches, all providing beautiful views of the countryside. All pitches have access to electric hook-up and water. Our site offers you the perfect opportunity to unwind and relax in a stunning natural setting. Whether you're travelling solo, in a family, a group or with pets, we're happy to have you.
Glamping Pod
Our glamping pod is specially designed to provide you with a luxury stay whilst enjoying all the benefits of camping. Equipped with large glass french doors you can relax and look at all of the gorgeous views surrounding Great Henny. Our pod comes with a queen sized bed, toilet, private indoor and outdoor seating area, wood-fired stove and a fully equipped kitchen. Located at the top of our campsite, you can enjoy the camping lifestyle and facilities while having a secluded comfortable and cosy stay in a home away from home. Our pod sleeps two adults.
Our Campsite
Our campsite, is equipped with lots of facilities such as; toilets, shower, off- grid electric hook ups (electric cannot always be guaranteed), water, BBQ / Fire pit area, picnic area and multiple picnic benches, gravel pitches, 10 x 8.5m x 8.5m grass pitches, 2 x larger grass pitches for tents, chemical disposable point, on site water sports rental and on site bike hire.
We would like to advise all guests that the site has a gentle incline and chocks/ ramps would be advisable for all those wanting to stay. ​Electric hook up and water is available on site at no added fee. Please note that depending on which pitch selected the electric hook up could be up to 30m from pitching and water as far as 25m in some pitches.

Due to the self generated power we produce on the site, the electric is limited to 3 amps. There may be occasions when power may not be available. We advise for your own safety that the gate is closed after entrance and exit. CCTV is in operation at all times. Friendly dogs are welcome on our site as long as they are kept on a lead an picked up after. Please note that we have a strict quiet policy after 11pm. Check in is anytime after 14:00 and check out is at 12:00. We operate via a remote check in system.
